My work is a reflection of hope, love, strength, and imagination. Through painting, I give form to the emotions and experiences that have shaped me—both the darkness and the light. Using acrylic on canvas, I’m drawn to the way colors shift and respond to emotion, movement, and touch. There’s something alive in the paint itself, and it allows me to translate what I feel into something tangible.
I’m inspired by life in all its complexity—by my family, the people I love, and the world around me. My paintings often emerge from personal moments, memories, and observations of the human condition. While they are born from emotion—sometimes pain or reflection—I always strive to leave space for hope. Even when the subject matter leans into the shadows, there is always a light breaking through.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to a Colombian mother and a Salvadoran father, I carry a rich cultural heritage that deeply informs my work. The colors, rhythms, and resilience of my roots live in each piece, reminding me that identity is both a grounding force and an open horizon. Through my art, I honor these stories of migration, family, and celebration, weaving them into something larger than myself.
Ultimately, I want people to feel something real when they view my work. I want them to feel seen, to feel love, and most importantly, to feel hope.
Do what you Love, that's the Artist Kinda Life!
